Polly McKinney started Long Game Strategies in 2016 with a desire to use her deep and varied film, interview, writing, and advocacy experience to create communications which could move people to think, act or change. Since then, she has developed content for a range of clients including Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, Georgia Office of the Child Advocate, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Voices for Georgia’s Children, and Georgia School Based Health Alliance, among others.

Career highlights include two regional Emmy nominations, creation of “Echoes of Captivity” (the introductory film at the National Prisoner of War Museum), serving as Executive Director for the League of Women Voters of Georgia (2006-2008), Director of Communications for the Southern States Energy Board (2008-2010), and Advocacy Director at Voices for Georgia’s Children (2010-ongoing).

In her spare time, Polly serves on a number of boards of directors, including as past chair of the ChildKind Board, advocacy chair of the Georgia School Based Health Alliance board, and as a member of the Juvenile Justice State Advisory Board, an appointment made by Governor Nathan Deal.  She currently lives in Atlanta with her teenage son, two dogs and a laptop.

Sheryl Myers

Sheryl Myers, a well-respected leader in the United States’ film industry, joined Long Game Strategies in January, 2020.  Sheryl’s more than 40 years of experience brings with it a wealth of production knowledge and unmatched aptitude for creative problem solving.

As founder of Comotion Films, Sheryl developed the business into an award-winning production company, specializing in national image campaigns.  Working with advertising agencies throughout the country she produced projects for clients such as Coca Cola, Delta, McDonalds, FORD and AT&T. 

In 2012 Sheryl joined forces with State Line Films where she executive produced until 2019. 

Her long desire to change policy, history, and perceptions through storytelling brought her to Long Game.

Sheryl was a founding member of the Georgia Production Partnership, a non-profit advocacy coalition organized to promote Georgia’s film industry.  She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
